Hector & Alicia
A maker writing from inside the system he built.
Hector Ouilhet Olmos is building Alicia, a personal AI system, and using the trace to write about what AI does to human life at close range. Alicia is an interlocutor, mirror, system, archive, and weather-reader. Authorship stays with Hector.
The maker
The authority comes from the practice.
The project starts with the thing itself: the system, its memory, its failures, the moments where it helped, and the moments where it distorted the view. The essays come from that trace.
The system
Alicia has been running since January 2026.
Alicia is open source under MIT. It's built around externalized memory, continuity, self-reflection, partnership-level representation, and guarded exits. The aim is simple: keep the human legible to himself and to the people around him.

The partnership can surface, reflect, and trouble the work. Authorship stays human. The hand stays on the pen.
